Light + Ivy was born from a desire to use my gifts to serve others well, to reflect the light of Christ, encourage growth, and honor the beauty in every story I get to capture or help communicate.
Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a senior on the edge of a new season, or partnering with a business owner to strengthen their brand, my heart is to serve with intentionality, humility, and joy. I want every client to feel deeply cared for, uplifted, and more confident in who they were created to be.
The name Light + Ivy carries meaning rooted in Scripture. Light reflects both the physical light I work with as a photographer and the calling from Matthew 5:16 to “let your light shine before others.” Ivy represents steady, thriving growth—reminding me that it’s God who gives the growth (1 Corinthians 3:7), and my role is to nurture and support.
Here, you’re not just a client—you’re a person with a story worth honoring. And I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.
John 8:12
Capturing Connections. Cultivating Growth.
I’m a photographer, marketing strategist, and creative partner who believes every person is made in the image of God and designed with purpose. That belief shapes everything I do, from how I photograph people to how I help businesses communicate their message.
I’ve always been drawn to creativity and connection. I studied marketing at Texas A&M, but my passion for people started long before that. I believe the work we do, when done with love and intention, can become a form of worship, a way of serving others and glorifying the One who gave us our gifts.
When I’m not behind the camera or building brand strategies, you’ll find me deep in a theology conversation, planning the next Disney trip, or spending time with my nerdy engineer husband, Matt, my best friend and biggest encourager.
I’m not here to just deliver a product. I’m here to be a steady presence, a joyful voice, and someone who helps you see the beauty in your story, because it was never random. It’s being written with purpose.
